“ I don’t like wearing my glasses all the time because when I am wearing glasses I can’t make four things look like they’re five things. They just keep being four things. ”

So I’ve been worrying about whether glasses for Kaylee is the right thing because my mom always said that when she got her glasses she was SO happy because suddenly she could SEE, ya know?  But Kins won’t say if her glasses make her see better, she doesn’t understand clarity and blurriness, and, most damning, she likes taking off her glasses and leaving them places.  I always thought that glasses were a pain but not seeing was a bigger pain, ya know?  Then yesterday on our way to school Kaylee came out with this gem and suddenly all my worries were gone.  Yes.  She does need glasses.
