Kaylee just sat down next to me with a chapter book in her hand (from her school library) that I’d usually hand to a 2nd grader or a really confident 1st grader. I figured she wanted me to read aloud to her but no… she opened it up and started reading to me. The only word she needed help with was hairdo.
