Ching Shih
Perfectly timed post is perfect. We’re all decorating (paper) snowmen in my department for the wall between us an circulation. I, of course, made a pirate snowman (SHIVER ME TIMBERS! Get it? Get it?). Coworker C then made a princess snowman (which is fine - obviously) but then she said her princess snowman was inspired by my snowman because “since there was a boy-y snowman up there I had to make a girly snowman!” I am doing all my restraining to not send her pictures of the piratots and little and links to Ching Shih and Sadie the Goat (the headbutting pirate of the Hudson River), and Teuta of Illyria.
